Market Staff
Part-time, seasonal | $16.00/hour
Wednesday and Thursday 6:30 am to 2:30 pm
Mid-June through end of September
(Please not that this is NOT a summer position. September is required)

Twin Cities Flower Exchange is a thriving independent business with a mission to create a sustainable alternative model for the wholesale floral industry. 

The Exchange seeks part-time Market Staff for the 2025 season. Market Staff will work closely with all members of our small, supportive team to run the day to day operations of a local and chemical-free wholesale flower market. This position offers exposure to diverse elements of a wholesale floral business and is a great opportunity for someone seeking hands-on learning about local and sustainable cut flower sales and marketing. This is a high-paced, physically-demanding job in a warehouse setting and requires early mornings!

Role:

  • Provide exceptional market day customer and order pick-up assistance

  • Accurately complete market sales using Square POS

  • Perform general market duties (washing buckets, sweeping, etc.)

  • Prep and organize floral materials as needed

  • Please note that this is not a floral design position

Person:

  • Customer service experience!

  • Detail-oriented and able to problem solve; adaptable and flexible

  • Physically able to regularly bend, lift, and move 20+ lbs 

  • Able to be on your feet for long periods of time

  • Able to work in varied temperatures 

  • Basic flower knowledge

  • Able to take directions, learn quickly, and ask for help as needed.
